Hi, Im Marissa, nice to meet you! I am a full time mother of three children, who keep me on my toes! I have had a passion for photography since my early twenties, Im crazy about light and how light effects a picture, I am always looking at the light wherever I go! I love natural, organic images. After doing a fine art foundation at Central St Martins, school of Art, I found the instant gratification of a digital image very appealing, especially when I discovered the wonders of Photoshop! Although I had loved to paint, that was my first love, Photoshop was like magic to me! Allowing endless possibilities. So I spent many many sleepless nights, reading, studying, trying to recreate various images, from superb photographers. It was only when my son was born, ten years ago that I decided to specialise in babies and children. There was nothing I loved more than to capture beautiful images of my own child, that it became a natural extension to specialise in this area. Babies were just supremely amazing and beautiful, and I became engulfed in mastering the techniques of baby photography. I have taken courses from some of the leading photographers in the world, Kelly Brown, Julia Kelleher and Stephanie Cotta, to name a few. I am fully aware how to pose your little one safely, as safety is of the upmost importance to me. Photography I a continual learning process, I am dedicated to improve my photography and I am always learning and studying to improve myself.
